also pursuant to and by effect of Art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003

Personal data protection is a matter of trust and the trust of our Customers is very important for Super Srl (hereinafter, in short, SUPER).

The objective of this statement is to inform Customers concerning personal data processing purposes and methods and to request their consent in order to use it for certain purposes. By reading this policy, Customers will be informed of the purposes and methods of collection and processing of personal data communicated while browsing the website www.superboutique.it (hereinafter SUPER website) when placing a purchase order, however (e.g. electronically, by telephone) this communication takes place. Customers can browse through the SUPER website without having to provide personal data. While browsing the SUPER website, at no time will it be possible to identify Customers, who will remain anonymous, unless they decide to provide their data and/or access their account by entering user name and password.

  1. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING

1.1 Personal data collection and processing

The specific processing purposes and methods to which the personal data of Customers is subjected are listed below.

  1. Purchase Order: SUPER collects and processes the personal data of Customers for the acquisition and execution of purchase orders, for any complaints subsequent to the purchase and to provide Customers with the services available. This data is necessary for the management of purchase orders, also with business partners (e.g. providers of logistics services, couriers, etc.). It is necessary to enter a delivery address and a correct telephone number to place an order and allow SUPER to promptly and properly fulfil the same. A telephone number is also necessary in order to allow SUPER to contact Customers for any queries or requests for clarification and to promptly and properly fulfil the purchase orders of such Customers. An e-mail address, on the other hand, is required by SUPER in order to be able to confirm receipt of the purchase order to Customers and for any other communications. Finally, the e-mail address is used to identify Customers in order to allow them to access their account.
  2. Reserved area - Customer login: the personal data of Customers and that regarding their purchase orders are saved in the SUPER system, but will not be freely accessible for security reasons. SUPER ensures access for all Customers to a reserved area via a protected password. In this area, Customers can examine all the data concerning purchase orders fulfilled as well as those under fulfilment and can also manage their personal data and that relating to subscription to the newsletter service. Customers are required to treat their login credentials in a responsible manner and in compliance with current legislation and not to disclose them to third parties. SUPER shall be in no way liable for incorrect or improper use of passwords by Customers.
  3. Advertising: SUPER uses Customer data for promotional purposes and for sending information concerning the items offered on the SUPER website. Customer e-mail addresses will be used solely within the limits prescribed by applicable legislation or, where appropriate, subject to the provision of express Customer consent. Customer may receive e-mails with purchase suggestions. The sending of such promotional messages can be stopped free of charge by making a request via e-mail to customercare@superboutique.it.
  4. Market research and public opinion surveys: Customer personal data is processed in order to perform market research and public opinion surveys. Use of the same takes place anonymously and exclusively in order to compile statistics for SUPER. At any time, Customers have the right to object to such processing. The answers provided by Customers within the scope of such market research and opinion polls are neither disclosed to third parties nor made public. The answers to the questions in our surveys are not stored together with the e-mail address.
  5. Subscription to the newsletter: in the newsletters, Customers will, from time to time, find information on advantageous offers. SUPER also invites Customers to enter their personal data in the newsletter settings (for example, their name), so that SUPER can personally contact Customers. Of course, Customers can also contact SUPER anonymously or with a pseudonym (for example, using a free e-mail address that does not reveal their name). SUPER processes the data collected within the scope of the newsletter service in order to customise and tailor services to Customer interests and preferences, as well as for promotional and market research purposes. SUPER stores the data collected for extended periods of time, it being understood that such data will in any case be used solely for the purpose referred to in this policy.
  6. Consultation of websites and newsletters: when Customers visit the SUPER website, also via a link in a newsletter, certain data is collected and saved. The domain name or IP address of the computer used for access is temporarily saved for security reasons and deleted after a maximum of 7 (seven) days. Other data, such as the date of access, the http response code and the website from which re-routing to the SUPER website took place, as well as the quantity of data (bytes) transmitted may also be saved. Data analysis takes place only in a strictly anonymous form (for example: 70% of newsletter readers have read the message “zz”). This process allows SUPER to adapt the information contained in offers to the interests of subscribers to the newsletter, which is sent as follows: Customers will receive the newsletter only if they provide their consent to it being sent and, in any case, will be free to stop receiving the newsletter free of charge, by making a request via e-mail to customercare@superboutique.it or by clicking on the option “cancel subscription” present in every newsletter.

1.3 PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

The personal data of Customers is transferred in encrypted form. This applies to both placing purchase orders, as well as reserved Customer access to their account. For this purpose, the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technique is used. While it is not possible to guarantee absolute protection, SUPER has adopted security measures for its systems against loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of Customer data by unauthorised third parties.

  1. EXPRESS CONSENT OF THE DATA SUBJECT

By reading this policy, Customers provide their express consent to the processing and disclosure of their personal data for the purposes and with the methods described in point 1 above. Such consent is recorded in SUPER systems and may be revoked by Customers at any time, with immediate effect.
